Actors Equity Association Releases Detailed List of New COVID Safety Protocols
The protocols presume that all Equity members and everyone that interacts with the actors and stage managers has been fully vaccinated.

Today, Actors Equity Association is taking major steps to get performers working again. “Today, I’m pleased to announce Equity is adding safety guidance for fully vaccinated workplaces to the resources for producers available on our website,” writes Executive Director, Mary McColl. “Equity employers on collective bargaining agreements can use this guidance to streamline return to work protocols when everyone in the workplace is vaccinated. Like all of our COVID safety guidance, we will review and update this guidance as the science dictates.
“Bringing the arts back is not just important to you as members. It is also important for our nation. A strong arts sector means a healthy, strong economy. By working together, we can emerge from this crisis as a stronger and healthier theatre industry.”
